Great experience thorough visit felt very comfortable!
Dr. barley really led me in a great direction; she’s an great listener and great communicator. Opening up to any health care professionals is hard and she made it so easy. With that being said I am waiting on my prescription to be sent to my pharmacy still.
She took the time to listen to me. However, by the end of our session, she wanted to take me off the medication I had been currently taking and switch me to 2 additional meds. She was more concerned about a pass condition I had than what I have been diagnosed with
Judy listened to everything that I said she didn't rush me . I highly recommend her. She said if I need anything else to reach out to her. She is a great listener and is very patient.
It is important to understand that you will get more results from therapy if you actively participate in the process. The ultimate purpose of therapy is to help you bring what you learn in session back into your life. Therefore, beyond the work you do in therapy sessions, your therapist may suggest some things you can do outside of therapy to support your process - such as reading a pertinent book, journaling on specific topics, noting particular behaviors or taking action on your goals. People seeking psychotherapy are ready to make positive changes in their lives, are open to new perspectives and take responsibility for their lives.
